A 2018 solo exhibition tracing Norhaiza Noordin's woodcarving, research drawings and wider heritage practice.

Menelusuri Karya Seni Norhaiza

A travelling solo exhibition

Menelusuri Karya Seni Norhaiza presented Norhaiza Noordin's woodcarving works together with research and sketches connected to traditional Malay carving. The Terengganu presentation was held at Kompleks Muzium Negeri Terengganu from 1 to 31 December 2018.

Universiti Malaysia Terengganu later described the exhibition as a road tour that began at the National Art Gallery in Kuala Lumpur, continued to Universiti Sains Malaysia and the Terengganu State Museum, and concluded at Pusat Islam Sultan Mahmud, UMT. Norhaiza's works were also presented alongside his Scholar Talk at UMT on 27 April 2019.

Woodcarving, research and Telepuk

Contemporary reporting records that the exhibition included carved works, research drawings and a Telepuk cloth collection. Together they show the breadth of a practice that joined making, documentation and the continuation of Malay heritage knowledge.
